About Fromex

John Albright opened Fromex One Hour Photo in Belmont Shore in 1982. Started as a one-hour photo shop and have grown the business to a nationally recognized photo and digital lab. Besides running the business, he also handles most of the custom framing and aluminum printing.

John was also co-founder in 1982 of the Independent Photo Imagers (www.ipiphoto.com), the largest trade association of photo labs and camera stores in the United States with over 500 members. Over 40 years of photo lab experience. Graduate from the University of Notre Dame with a degree in Aerospace Engineering.
